Everyone at sids is cool. They're like the person that walks on the street and you look at them and you're like I'll bet you. Their collection of smut is really impressive and strange and nuanced. That's what it's like. Whenever I walk in this place. There's a bouncer. She's a very sweet girl but I asked her once. Did you have to miss anybody up before and she said you want to be the first one to find out? And I told her no. And she said well go inside and stop being weird. So I go inside the space. It's small, it's tiny. And if you're a little DJ and you know how to work a board, you can DJ here. The bartenders are all really nice and they ask you questions like. Why does your face look like that? Or my personal favorite? When did you realize that therapy wasn't working.? It's a lot of stuff and the drinks are well made. They have pickle beer here which I am a fan of. They're friendly to people who are children of divorce, c-section babies, neuron divergent people who don't know that they're neurodivergent. Anyway, I had my drinks here. I said my peace to the people. They're very kind to me and said hey sir like what. And I turned around and I walked out. I plan to come back to Sid's bar again one day. Come to here. I dare you

This place is rad. Wild to catch Ty Segal doing a DJ set in the bar. Really nice cocktails. Great atmosphere. This is what South Pasadena needed. It's what the whole area of SGV needed.

Total win for south pas. Beautiful job restoring this old school/admin building. Should give any California public school graduate the chills (this was the model for the open hallway model used by most California schools). Bathrooms are exquisite. Cocktails are lovely. Villas tacos is coming soon. Can't wait to see a show here! Support your local independent venue!
